This launch highlights a growing industry trend: blurring the line between mobile workstation performance for creative work (“work hard”) and gaming (“play hard”).
Both models feature the latest Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs, built on the Blackwell architecture. These platforms bring advanced AI capabilities and graphics processing to laptops, enabling high-end gaming, creative workflows like video editing and 3D rendering, and AI-intensive applications such as image generation and real-time translation.
Predator Triton 14 AI: A Compact Powerhouse for Creators and Gamers
The Predator Triton 14 AI combines powerful specs with sleek portability. It features an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 288V, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. Designed for mobility and versatility, it weighs just 1.6 kg and is only 17.3 mm thick.
The 14.5-inch WQXGA+ OLED display is Calman Verified and supports 100% DCI-P3, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 1ms response time, ideal for precision-based creative tasks and fluid gaming. Touch and stylus input with 4,096 pressure levels and AES 2.0/USI 2.0 support elevate creative control.
It’s also the first Acer laptop to use graphene thermal interface material for improved cooling, along with dual 6th Gen AeroBlade fans, a vapor chamber, and Vortex Flow cooling. AI-driven features like Human Presence Detection (HPD) enhance usability and security, while a customizable per-key RGB keyboard, Thunderbolt 4, and Wi-Fi 7 ensure premium connectivity.

The Helios Neo 14 AI offers a similar 14.5-inch 2.8K OLED display and supports up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H and NVIDIA RTX 5070 GPU. With up to 32 GB RAM and 2 TB SSD, it’s built for performance in a compact form factor.
Acer’s 5th Gen AeroBlade cooling, liquid metal, and Advanced Optimus support ensure it remains efficient and responsive. The design includes a customizable RGB logo, three-zone RGB keyboard, and Wi-Fi 6E for low-latency gaming. It also comes with AI tools like PurifiedVoice 2.0 and ProCam.

The Triton 14 AI launches in EMEA in July starting at EUR 2,999 (~$3,342), while the Helios Neo 14 AI starts at EUR 1,699 (~$1,893).
