After a brief teasing, HONOR has officially introduced two new smartphones—the HONOR 400 and HONOR 400 Pro—highlighting a return to high-resolution camera sensors. Both models feature 200MP main cameras and cater to different price segments while offering strong performance, display quality, and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
HONOR 400
The base model, HONOR 400, features a 6.55-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak HDR brightness of 5,000 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, the same chipset used in its predecessor, and comes with 8GB of RAM. Storage options include 256GB and 512GB, and the device is IP65-certified for water and dust resistance.
The battery has a capacity of 5,300mAh and supports 66W fast charging. In terms of photography, the phone is equipped with a 200MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens with macro capabilities, and a 50MP front-facing camera for high-resolution selfies.
HONOR 400 Pro
The more advanced HONOR 400 Pro boasts a 6.7-inch screen with a 1,280 x 2,800 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 5,000 nits. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, comes with 12GB of RAM, and offers 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. The battery is the same 5,300mAh unit but supports much faster 100W charging.
For photography, the 400 Pro includes a 200MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens with macro, and a 50MP telephoto lens. The front camera is also 50MP. Both models feature built-in AI tools for smart tasks like automatic captioning, summarization, translation, and writing assistance, along with deepfake detection.
