HONOR To Provide 7 Years of Android OS and Security Updates for HONOR Magic Series

HONOR has unveiled a significant enhancement for its flagship Magic series, announcing seven years of Android OS and security updates. This initiative, part of the new HONOR ALPHA PLAN, positions HONOR as one of only three brands in the industry to offer such extended support, initially available in EU markets.

The HONOR ALPHA PLAN reflects a consumer-centric approach, aiming to transform HONOR from a smartphone manufacturer to a global AI device ecosystem leader. James Li, CEO of HONOR, emphasized that this move is designed to meet and exceed customer expectations, ensuring that devices remain secure and equipped with the latest AI innovations. The support extension will begin with the HONOR Magic7 Pro and expand to other flagship models, including both bar and foldable phones.
