OnePlus has officially unveiled the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro in China, following numerous leaks and speculation. Positioned as the direct successor to last year’s OnePlus Pad Pro, the new tablet builds upon its predecessor by refining core features while maintaining a premium hardware focus.
A standout feature of the Pad 2 Pro is its larger 13.2-inch IPS LCD display with a 3.4K resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals for media consumption and productivity. The display also boasts a 7:5 aspect ratio and improved brightness, reaching up to 900 nits, enhancing visibility even in bright environments.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite platform, designed for flagship-level performance. It is available in configurations of 8 GB, 12 GB, or 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, ensuring fast multitasking and ample storage capacity. It runs Android 15 with the ColorOS 15 user interface tailored for tablets.
Powering the device is a significantly larger 12,140 mAh battery, a substantial upgrade from the previous model’s 9,510 mAh. Charging remains at 67W via USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, offering quick recharging capabilities. In terms of cameras, the Pad 2 Pro includes a 13 MP rear sensor and an 8 MP front-facing camera, mirroring the camera setup of its predecessor.
Additional features enhance the device’s appeal for power users and media enthusiasts. These include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and an eight-speaker audio system, promising rich sound quality for entertainment and productivity use. The tablet also remains relatively thin and lightweight, measuring 5.97 mm thick and weighing 675 grams, making it portable despite its large screen.

Pricing and Availability
The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is available in two color options: Deep Sea Blue and Glacier Silver. Pricing (direct conversion, excluding taxes) is as follows:
- 8 GB + 256 GB: ¥3,199 (~$450)
- 12 GB + 256 GB: ¥3,499 (~$492)
- 12 GB + 512 GB: ¥3,799 (~$535)
- 16 GB + 512 GB: ¥3,999 (~$563)
OnePlus has not yet announced international availability, and similar to the Pad Pro, the new model may be restricted to select regions.
